Thread: looking for help with motor swap

So, It's been a while, but I finally got the thing finished, after 2 weekends of work. So many unexpected twists. But, the car made the trip from Crestview to Jacksonville without a hiccup. Runs like a top, albeit a little loud. I think we'll be looking for full exhaust soon. Header, high-flow cat, cat-back, the works. Funny thing! I was looking at the old engine, and I saw an interesting marking on the block.... "SR18DE" !!!!! This used to be my girlfriend's car. I always wondered why it was so much slower than my NX even though it had a roller rocker engine (which I found when I took the valve cover off to replace the gasket). It's SO much better now with a REAL roller rocker SR20. Amazing how much difference a fifth of a liter can make. Anyway, I may or may not post up some pics. I don't get on here all that often, but it may be fun for everyone to see the shinanigans that took place. Lots of booze and a little nudity. And grease. Lots of grease.
