Help. I need an sr20 trans or help getting the ga16 in my car running.
I've been trying to get my 1.6l 200sx running for 2 years now. the top timing chain tensioner broke and the chain ate some gears and bent the valves. I finally had it running last week but when I start it up it leaks almost a quart of oil in 30 seconds of running. I thought it was the bottom tensioner leaking I pulled it out and re sealed it and the leak is still there. I'm fed up with taking this ga16 engine apart I'd rather work on an sr20.
I haven't been working since before Christmas. I haven't had a car since the lady ran a red light and hit my white 98 vvl se in October. I pulled the engine out of that car and it is sitting in my garage I just need a transmission for it.
I need to get this car running so I can go back to working. so if anyone wants to help me get the ga16 running or if they have a sr20 transmission they want to sell me please let me know.
