B15/P11 Help (looking for someone local)
Hey guys,

I just picked up a 2002 G20 last night which is not running due to no spark. I purchased a distributor from a local junkyard here in Orlando, installed and still nothing.

Is there anyone around Orlando that has a running B15/P11 that would be available to help test or eliminate variables of what the problem may be?

I can throw you a couple bucks for gas.

Thank You,

James

Try fooling with the dizzy plug useing a multimeter. When i did my b13/ve swap that car would not fire but every once in a blue moon. After peeling back some tape on the wire harness where the dizzy plugs in i discovered a burnt wire. After rewraping it that car fires like a champ now. Also try spraying some starter fluid on the intake filter. If it turns over start checking that wire harness.

I'm actually up in Alabama this weekend and will be back early Monday morning. I'm going to get another distributor to try again and maybe had two bad ones. If it happens again then lets set something up.

Alright I got a second distributor from the junkyard and STILL no spark so something else has to be going on.

How do you know thiat it's not sparking? Did you take one wire and one plug out and see if there is an arch?

If there is no visible spark start looking at fuses and wiring.

Yes I pulled out the plug and put it to a ground. Turned over the car and no spark. Checked all the fuses inside of the car and then the ones by the battery. Did not find any blown.

I have swapped over the coil, cap and rotor. Have not tried new wires or igniter. (though I must ask where that is)

Try new wires and spark plugs (since you tried two distro's that shouldn't be the problem).

Then start looking at cut/chewed wires. Also make sure ECU is actually plugged up
