I want a bike pretty badly, right now. I was considering a scooter, but those things are slow and lame, lol. Although, 102MPG isn't too bad.

Anyone got some suggestions?

i would go for a scooter no matter want people say. in new york, its popular up there to own 1.

im not saying that it would do anything if EVERYONE stopped geting gas, but as of right now the people are working for the goverment, and its not supposed to bethat way, its supposed to be the goverment working for the people, there are caps they cn put on gas, here in KY they can if they feel its needed pull the tax on the gas, altho they said that that would be a last minute thing as it pays for the street repair and stuff like that.

i just feel tht people are SOOO blinded, its just stupid anymore

SOON, i will just convert to race gas becuase they difference in prices, well there wont be a difference, and that is just stupid

i know riding a bike is dangerous because of the other drivers and lack of skill by the rider, but its something iv always wanted. iv had scooters and $h!t but i wont ride them to work, a bike is another story. all dependswhat i can find

but thank you for the concern

those gas taxes are stupid if you ask me, and if ga was to ever get low again i have a feeling they would end up puttig caps on the ga becuase people woul be getting so much of it in fear that it would spike again, so in reality gas being high does give us the option to buy as much as we want if gas was to get low agan it mght get rashened out

One thing we did once with a couple of friends is we spent a whole night taking up all the spots at a specific gas station, and doing a "who is able to fill up the least" contest.

It would go like this:
1-Park your car at the pump.
2-Put the least gas in possible.
3-Go in the store and pay by credit card.
4-Repeat, starting at #2, until you are full.

This does 2 things:
-It takes up all of the spots at the gas station for the whole evening, and the station only gets profit from 10-12 fill-ups.
-The gas station pays credit card companies per transaction, so it almost costs them money that day. I know they absorb it with the full month, but it still pisses them off.

Do that at random gas stations every once in a while, and they start to get the message. You can even get yourself on the news that way. You have to be very patient, though.
