It'll never work, neither will that silly idea to not buy gas on a certain day. We just have to accept it.

You'll put some random person's gas station out of business and put a family out on the street while accomplishing nothing. =/

As long as the feds are cashing on thier tax dollars, there will be high gas prices, all we can do is cope and make adjustments. ( i.e get rid of that tank you call an suv )

That's what I did 2 yrs. ago. Smartest choice I made. Although I paid cash for mine, you can buy one with no money down and the payments are only $50/month. You would actually save money if you bought one. Seems like a no-brainer. I cruise to work and back for 2 weeks on 1 gal. of gas. I bought a Kymco Agility 50 that gets a solid 102 mpg and with a few mods, it now does 50mph.

Im getting a Honda Ruckus. I wish I had the cash to pay for it outright, but I just got done paying off 8 grand in CC debt, so I dont have anything saved. I too will be adding some things to get my top speed up.

Im just sick of spending money on cars, all the gas, insurance. I recently cut my tobacco costs down to 13 bucks from 120-130 bucks a month by rolling my own smokes, now Im out to cut my commuting expenses like that.
