whats wrong with selling things locally ?
i was just looking at two se-r for sale the barney se-r and the burgandy one and they were both shut down probably because of the ban on sale adds in the local section, but honestly what is the point of that ? i have somethings that i would want to sell and they are things that i would rather not ship anywhere, and i can just take a good old local you give me cash and i give you part transaction. ive been a member of this community for a very long time i know a hand full of people on here and ive dealt with a few of them in person and im sure that most of us have. i just think its annoying. its all for the protection of the consumer, well if you feel unsafe meeting some one to do a parts exchange bring a friend or do the exchange in front of a police station, it really is not that big of a deal. i guess this is just annoying to me, what is the regional chapter even for? meet ups, posting pics of your car? why not just post pics of the car and say hey check out my car its cool, and sneak in a little hey im thikning about selling it, if you did that would the mods close your thread and not let any one comment on the car. i saw the purple 200sx 2 days ago its super clean and if its not sold some one should really buy it.

No one is forcing you to sell anything. If you dont like the forum rules, then dont sell here. The rules are in place to protect both sellers and buyers. You can create a sale thread for locals only in the appropriate classified section, and cross-link from your regional section to that ad. Selling in regional sections has caused issues that go un-noticed. Forcing classifieds into the classified section eliminates some of those issues.
