Thread: Moving Back To FL

Whats up everyone.. It's been a long time since I've popped on the forum.. However I still stop by and read up and check out whats going on with the community. I just thought I would give a shout to the FL section I once was a part of several years ago when I lived in Tampa. Anyways... I am all educated now and will be moving back to FL and live in the St. Pete area this time around. Some of you might not know who the hell I am around here and some of you might remember, But I just figured it would be worthwhile to see who is still in this scene. I will be looking for a job in the Print/Web Design/ Graphic Design area so if anyone knows of anything feel free to hit me up, I will be hitting the ground running and be freelancing until I find a full time gig back in FL. And to answer possible questions, I still have the NX however it is chilling in the garage these days since I was more focused on graduating. I am still driving an SR20... a 01 B15 Sentra SE I hope all is well with all of you guys in FL.

Welcome back, Jimmy. Last time you were here, didn't you live with your sister while she was at usf? Last time I saw you, we were at Bradenton... you broke an axle or case if I remember right.

Hope you still have family here. The job market in Florida absolutely reeks. I changed my user name when I moved here from the old forum. It would be cool to get some of the guys together and hit Bradenton again.

wow that was a long time ago. Yea I lived with a fellow forum member ( I dont know if he is still around or not, i know hes not in FL anymore)... That was one hell of an episode in the NX history with that damn axle going out like that. That thing snapped right on the input shaft, freaking wierd.... I still launched out hard though on that run ...

I do have family still down there, and I'm just hoping something comes up job wise. Its even worse up here in Illinois.. it pretty much came down to me packing up and moving and seeing what is out there in the City again or staying up here in IL and working in a factory... it was an easy choice.

Try applying at the Tropicana plant in early november if you are moving near breadenton, and dont mind working hard, I work at the ft pierce plant, its a seasonal job but I get unemployment 5 months a year, and do odd and end jobs during that time, Pepsico have some really good benefits, I work in the feedmill driving a front loader and loading trucks

Holy Shit... The Serbaninator still inhabits these forums. How is life man?! Are you still in SOFLA? I'm going to be moving in with one of Jame's friends in St. Pete and setting up base down there. Is the South Florida crew still going strong these days? I know Rob moved up to Ohio and became a popsicle and thus no one has heard from him since ( I hope he sees this and gets a laugh), but I wonder how everyone else is doing down there. I hope all goes well and I land a 9-5er or something along those lines, but I have a feeling im going to be doing a little bit of this and a little of that starting out down there. who knows.
