Welcome to Fla man.... It's really getting stupid down here. It's a shame that people have to risk their lives not knowing who the wrong person they will mess will next just might get them killed.

In Florida, you guys have the castle doctrine, shoot to kill. Even if it is over your car, shoot to kill.

If it applies to your car in Florida they need to bring it here in Arizona. Let someone try to steal my s**t. The disturbing thing about all this is that the thieves will lurk on the forums and wait for their opportunity to strike. Glad they caught these bastards & recovered NissanGuy's car and stripped parts.

I recently noticed some gouging in the paint in the door trim of my car, and now that I think about it, I had trouble getting my key in a couple months ago when I started messing with the car again, like they pins were all jacked up. I wonder if someone tried to jack my car but realized it would not start because shit under the hood was all disconnected, including no battery...

yes sir. love the florida gun laws. a while back a friend was i raised with and lost contact with him had his bmw stolen in front of his house by a 13 y/o kid and shot him while the kid was trying to run him down and killed the kid. he got put in jail and they pressed charges on him. this was years ago. maybe 6-7 years ago

i cant stress enough to people in south florida to put alarms on their cars. one of my female friends got her car broken into yesterday morning. mostly her fault i feel. she told me they took about 600.00 worth of stuff. why even have that much stuff in the car ?!?!

First off I hope this all get ironed out sooner that later.

Second when I was in FL this is the reason my car never slept outside and it only left the garage if I could keep my eyes on it. Hell once I was followed home and I did a few laps in the neighborhood and I parked in a driveway to a house that was not mine. I got out of the car and the guys drove off.

I then drove to my house and locked my car in the garage and did not take it our for a little over a month. It sucks to have to deal with this type of shit. Just remember guys all you can do is slow a thief down by adding all this security BS. If they want somthing real bad they will get it regardless what's protecting it.

Nice not have to deal with this up north. Another reason to get out of Fla.

Alarms help ,but theifs will stalk you and get you when you least expect .
a good solution is LO JACK https://store.lojack.com/product.aspx?zpid=342&mode=review

its expensive but if you want your car back you will have it , unless its in a D Container on the way out of the country on a ship.

regardless , its expensive but works it includes the first 2 years for $695
and $100 every year after the 2 years.

if i had over 10k in my car i would not even think twice.
