Thread: Florida Keys

Has anybody been to the Keys lately, last time I was there they were doing a ton of construction on the side bridges. I'm asking because I'm dien to go fishing and tghe bridge I want to go on might be under construction.....

I am planning a trip relatively soon.

The keys in the last 5 years have changed alot. More lanes, elevated roads, and new bridges. before it you use look kinda abandom driving down a dangerous 2 lane road.

last time i went the first big bridge was just finished up.

im not really concerned about the main bridges, its the older side bridges that they have been "refinshing" with new rails and what not. i was curious if they were still underconstruction?

most of the "old" bridges have been refinished with "balcony's" that kind of hang out a bit from the side of the bridge to let you get your line out a little bit further, as far as i know they are still working on the 18 mile stretch, try card sound, my sister lives down there and i used to but not anymore, ill be going down in the next week or 2

I'm down here in the keys now, let me know specific bridges that you all want me to check out? Hopefully I can get my car fixed without having to tow it home, who wants to help?
