Thread: Headlight retrofit anyone?

Has anyone done it? I'm thinking of giving "The Retrofit Source" a call. Looking for pointers.

i did it with the ebay projector housings tsx (clear) projectors and keg can shrouds. i can post pics if you want. one of theese days i may do a how to.

Are these real projectors or the Liu kit. I would love to see pics. Whats up Damien. I was away for a bit & Im also on gnet.

heres all the pics i could find tonight. the projectors are out of an acura tsx but its the clear lenses not the fresnel ones i believe its like an 06. the shrouds are cut and polished heineken keg cans (a total pain in the ass but it looks good in person) everyone i tell about the shrouds think im bsing them

I used the same housings ^, but I installed the liuspeed projectors in mine, all I did was use a flat plate of steel to make the bracket, and then extended the rear of the housings with a pvc sewer pipe cap, and best of all it is completely reversible the way I did mine

How thick was the plate of steel you used Mike?

And as far as pointers go, take your time and research. That's what I'm doing.
