Thread: For those who remember Jay Whitely!!!!

He has had a rough time lately with the law. He was busted for dui's twice in a month and some other stuff. Well he is in jail for a long time, from what I heard around 3 years. Anyways he had a super clean b14 he bought from Nissan in 96 or 97 that was immaculate with fresh leather interior and a whole bunch of badass one off stuff. Anyways his mom just sold the car to some kid for 200 with a brand new LSD trans in the crate from Nissan and a crap load of 54C parts. I am trying to get the shell off this kid. BTW, the shell has 43,000 original miles on it!!! I am pretty sure the kid that has it will let the shell go for a good price.

I worked with Jay at Nissan for quite some time. He was a cool guy, just kinda troubled. Never had an issue with him. Although he did mess up, I hate to see anyone that is or has been involved in the community be put away in jail.

hayzoos christo! Dammit, I was really hoping he'd get his life on track. Makes me feel that I should have done something for and with him... nice kid.

The problem is when you walk down a path where you should not be and you know it and dont care these are the things that can happen. I think after jay and his girl broke up he was a changed man.

I also feel alot of people asked so much out of him but never returned what they took out of him. In this game somtimes its hard to know who our friends are and who are just there for the ride.

I wish him well and hope to hear from him when he gets out. I hope you guys are there to give him him a hand when he gets out.

I have tried to help jay out several times. It was like trying to move a cow off railroad tracks. As we all know jay does have some issues, he does not belong in jail.

I always wondered what happend to Jay. He had a good rep for a while. He did some good work on a few cars that I know of.

I hope he can get back on his feet when he gets out and like Andreas said he will need help. So I hope his close friends are there for him.

I'm sorry to hear about Jay. He was a good guy in my book and always was there to help out when I needed it. He drove all the way from Tampa to install cams in my old 200sx shortly after I purchased it. I met him through the mailing list and he was always nice enough to answer any questions I had. It sucks that he chose the wrong path.

well if and when he gets out, he acts the same as when he went in, it won't matter who helps him out! Bc these last few years he has burnt his own friends list! thats that
