Late Introduction
Hey guys I figured I'd take the time to finally introduce myself to y'all. I've been on here since sometime in February and haven't really introduced myself. I know like 2 guys (eggman,xnissan240sx) so its times to meet more of you guys. I drive/own a '92 SE-R that I saved 3 months ago from the PO. Paint is faded badly, exhaust is extremely rusty, and it just wasnt running completely right. I've been fixing it reluctantly the last few months, decided to sell it recently, got it fixed while it was up for sale, and now im back in love with it so its staying with me.

Here's how it was when I bought it:

I was stuck with those sorry ass chrome wheels until mid-march when I bought white nx2k wheels off of eggman:

Clearly looks a lot better with them on and it handles a lot better because the tires are great. Anyway I'm still in the midst of fixing it, it currently has no 5th gear but in the next couple weeks that'll be taken care of. I will also be pickin up a 2.5" CB exhaust in the next couple weeks as well. I have a set of springs ready to go on the car just havent gotten around to it and I need a few helpful hands to do that which is hard to come by lol Other than that the next thing will be paint. It may temporarily go to flat black until I can afford to go with the OEM Aztec Red. Anything is better than the faded paint on it right now it's seriously annoying to look at.

Anyway I've rambled on enough. My name is Darryn, Im in Tampa, and I look forward to meeting some of you guys.

what he^ said. Why are you going with a 2.5 exhaust, unless you're going to do some serious motor upgrades in the future? Good move on the wheels, shiny chrome panasport knockoffs were not rocking the car. What kind of springs are you putting on the car, and is it just springs or also the struts?

Try wet sanding the car first. Not a permanent solution, but it will look better.

Nogo-I just realized I forgot to answer your question...I do plan on doing work to A motor (whichever one ends up under the hood) so the 2.5" will be necessary. And I bought the springs from eggman...honestly can't remember if they're progress springs or road magnet, either way they're ready to go on. no struts FOR NOW but I do plan on getting some..possibly from eggman. I just have bigger issues to deal with first

Its funny man (well not funny but ironic) after I left you yesterday the car continued to over heat. Definitely isnt getting any oil like you were saying but its not leaking anywhere at the same time....regardless Miko said 2 weeks until he can get his hands on a redtop so I'll take it. For a motor, tranny, and exhaust im hangin around $1k altogether do I can't complain about that. Then I'll figure out what to do with the motor thats in there now.

Those springs are progress.
I already sold the agxx struts I had, sorry.
If you run a 2.5 SSAC header, why not have the 2.5 exhast too? No sense in choking it down, right?

Lets see some pics with the B14 wheels, man, your slackin'
