B14 Starter ?
OK my starter died yesterday so i got a JDM starter from Miko. Well while trying to change the starter, there is a Big V shape bracket and i am not sure what the purpose is for? IT pissed me off trying to get it off and getting to the starter.

My B15 does not have a V bracket blocking the starter access.

no not intermediate shaft bracket. Its a black v that supports the intake manny.. Its a PITA to mess with while the motor is in the car. I too changed my starter a lil while ago and spent most of the time tryin to get that bracket out of the way from underneath. I took it off on my old motor. It's just a support doesnt really make a difference.
