Thread: 02 Maxima > 02 G20

Well as some of you know I crashed my P11 about a month ago. Insurance was very good to me and gave me a good amount form P11. Enough for me to buy the maxima and have some left over! I found the car on maxima.org drove to orlando yesterday to pick it up. The car is a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE 6spd. It has just over 100K miles on it. modd list: HotShot headers, full Cattman 2.5 exhaust, light weight flywheel, stage 2 clutch, greddy emanage blue, SS intake manifold, and a few other go fast parts. The way the car is know its making 245whp and will pick up a good amount more after it is tuned for the new maf and intake mani.

- Nice pick up. Money shots? I'm interested in getting one of these, a 02 G20, or a G35 sedan.

nice pick up, my 02 has HS headers and cattman catback, sounds awesome. i dyno'd 243 on a dyno dynamics. and, you will destroy any de with bolt ons and most ves as well. i would upgrade to the 05 brakes, cheap and well worth it, the stock brakes suck..

NO doubt there is no point in even racing a lil DE!!! and the upgrade is on its way that was one of the things that was included with the purchase just not installed!!! once i get the car retuned it should be in the 250+ range for sure.

Money shots will be up very soon i want to detail the engine bay before! An all i can say is i just came from a 02 G20 sport 5spd and my sister has an 03 G35 sedan and this car to me is number o0ne choice.

i was 0n s-techs nice low drop until i got JICs, was a little bouncy for me..then again i was on kyb gr2s...let me know how it is on illuminas..

i guess just watch the oil level, iirc on the early VQ35's they had a problem burning oil, but i may be wrong tho
