its hit and miss it seems. i am an original owner and have no oil consumption problems, others go thru 2+ qts in 3 months. one thing to starbucks, if the plugs werent changed, when you do them, pick up an 04+ rear valve cover. they are redesigned, as the 02-03s have been know to leak into the sparkplug holes..

Watch na dred it will destroy a De but not a VE with bolt on's,so don't get it twisted.
