Help?
hey guys i just bought wheels and springs off of Eggman and im sitting in my car now trying to figure out how the hell to get the bolt off the top of the strut. I tried putting a rag on it and using vice grip but that isn't working. im doing this by myself so things are a little difficult. if anyone is the tampa area, more specifically the USF area and you can swing by to lend a hand give me a call 401-952-8859. any help is appreciated thanks

I had to weld the strut shaft to the strut body to get one of mine loose. =/

I suggest not doing this if you want to re-use your struts. =D
An impact gun should help.

try using a piece of hose(rubber) with the vicegrips so it cant spin. That is your only hope, especially without air.I usually do the rubber thing WITH air

LOL,I guess you go antsy? I thought you said you were gonna wait on the springs...hehe
I dont blame you.

I am assuming you have the tension off the springs with a spring compressor ,of course.

PB Blaster always makes things easier. I've done the vice grips trick before as well. Now air tools are the only way I get down.
