Thread: South Florida PBIR MEET(DYNO/Track)

I don't think we should do this RIGHT NOW. I mean I know alot of people are jonesing for a meet. But if we wait a month or so would be better. Don't jump the gun.

And if people from Miami start bitching about drives. Honestly then don't even bother stateing that B.S. or showing up. Because countless times the people well north of west palm have made it down and that's just a pure cop out. Sometimes it's just the nice ride of drive and riding deep.

i kinda agree with Wayne, last markum meet we had it raid a little and people from all around didnt show. i also know the meet isnt schedualed for a few months down the road. hopefully it plans out good i cant wait to get on the track...

i think wayne means maybe it should be a guaging intrest thread with what is going to happin(autox, drag, hangout, dyno etc...) at PBIR then set a definate date

I really want to AutoX. I've asked Tire Kingdom, they are uneasy. We have to advertise this to get sponsors. I'm going to ask Murray's Speed and Custom next. Maybe Maroone Nissan.

Sounds like what the Nissan community needs. Also sounds difficult to accomplish without 100% participation. We would need the support from the people who don't go online as they make up a large part of our community. Need to get specific, Dates, Cost, etc. and choose people to Head the Organizing of such an event. Anything I can do to help Im down. Maybe sponsor? My company is small but this type of publicity would be great!! Let me know what I can do Kev.

I'm just trying to help. I'm good with most of the guys out there with the Nissans that don't come online. Once I tell them about it i'm sure they would come out.
it's just the other guys that need to show up also. For some reason the nissan crew never really step up when it comes to representing. The Toyota and Honda people go all out but for some reason it doesn't happen here. I'm trying to see if the NSCRA would help us pull it off but they just want to make sure it won't be a flop. They have good contacts with the track so i'm sure they can get it to happen.

Hell yea I fel you on that. I'm always down to do whatever whenever wherever I just wish more of the people here were like me. Shyiiiitttt wait till I get settled with my money and start building. I'mma be reppin ssooooo haaarrddd for the B14s. I just dont have the money now but I definately make it to every meet and event that I can sometimes with barely even enough money to get back home! I cant wait for this to happen if there is anything I can do to help let me know.

On a side note, I think it would be smart to get some sort of list with payments setup. You know, make a list of attendees and a paypal addy we can all send money to so that we can fund the renting of the track etc. That way you can find out who is serious or not and have the funds on hand ready to go.
