Thread: Try to start a South Florida Meet

And how many of our meets have you made it to?

OK... first off. We are trying to get a meet together. Once againg the place is up in the air. Now I see the main reason as people want to race. Which is fine but how many people are actaully going to or can track there car's. Raise of hands?!?!

Ok second.... this is a meet. Not a convention. So paying a lot of money just to hang out and b.s. Which this thread about, to me is kinda pointless.

I plan on showing up no matter what since I haven't been to a meet in almost 2 years.

My rant is now complete.

Well this is the right time to get a meet together before the rainy seanon start. Seems like no one wanna drop cash for food so if someone have a grill ill give them 50-75 bucks to hit the store and get some snacks. SO im thinkin same place as always markam park 2 week in march Saturday, Lets get the ball rollin this is a meet with snack not all out lunch who is down????

Nobody. Were all tired of drivin an hour to sit there for an hour doin sh!t then everyone just leaves and another hour back home. I do it because im dedicated but it gets rediculous. It needs to be pbir. No more corny little group meetings in a park where theres a kids b-day party right next to us (last meet) and people playing soccer n junk. Just makes us look like loners trying to hide from everyone. PBiR or BUST! thats where cars and car junkees belong...

pbir would be a great spot for people to that don't want to drive for hours and have have fun i down for whatever been trying to hang out and meet some sentra boys for while

ill drive to palm beach for a meet. just came from there to get tint for my car, drove there to help 561nissan(carl) with his swap, drove there 12.30am to give roger a 1 dollar gasket for free got back home at 3.30am, drove to palm beach to help chill put a motor in for free, my 2 good friends live in palm beach (roger and carl). Im always goin to speedway. And i drove to andreas x-mas morning for a 10 dollar rocker arm. For all you guys thats scared to drive scared of your cars being stolen then sell umm markam park had a honda meet 2 weeks ago and there was 60 plus cars. Im not saying lets get married or be lovers but lets get together and know one another

If it's going to be PBIR we have to find out what days they have avail. Then we have to see how much they would charge to rent the track for a day cause they won't let you run without fire rescue being there. I can talk to my boy at NSCRA and see if they can help out and maybe they can bring there dyno and make it like a dyno day or something. But we have to make it a good turn out or it wouldn't make sense.

Just an idea.
