Quit complaining as to how far these places are. Make the trip. I'm going to shoot for this if all goes accordingly.

Thats why Tampa area meets are horrible. No one ever wants to show up cause they boohoo about how far it is, yet people from all over FL drive down to Miami multiple times a year for meets and don't complain.

My only problem is that my car wouldnt make it broskii

If I can get my '96 back on the road by then... I'm in. Ft. De Soto is a great park to hold events at and March is a perfect time of year for the meet. If you've never been to Ft. De Soto, it's consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in the country.

For those not from the Bay Area, there's also a nice campground on Ft. De Soto. Most of the sites may already be reserved by now (snow birds), but they always keep some available for 'walk up' campers.

I'll complain all I want, thank you. Since you're going, I hope its worth the trip...for your sake. Do take pictures though!



Hell yeah I'll boohoo about how far it is. The only thing I look forward to in Tampa is Busch Gardens...so sorry.
