Thread: Whose attending the Mile Runs on Sunday?

i have a B15 tranny! woot woot. i wish i could even gather up the funds to finish up my grocery gettah to run on the 1/4.

No pics by me, I can tell you that the cars that came out were impressive. Here is a list of cars that I saw.

1. 7 GTRs running from 164-185 depending on mods
2. 3 Ford GT40s
3. 10 Supra's
4. 20 or more Porsche 911 TT
5. 2 Porsche GT's
6. 4 R32-R33 Skylines
7. 20 + Corvette's ZR1 to Z06 twin turbo to supercharge
8. 20 + Ferrari's of every type
9. 30 + Mustangs turbo to supercharge to nos

the line to run was about 1/4 mile long at its peak and that was 2 rows of cars.

Wicked Dre congrats, Must of been fun as hell.

Damn that sounds like a great turn out.

Way more cars than that I was just paying attention to the popular ones. There were BMWs, Turbo 350z, Turbo Camaros, you get the pic.

The turn out was good but GOOD LORD, IT WAS F*CKIN HOT!!

I was out there for about 3.5 hours and left. This is definately not a spectator sport/event. You can either watch them start or fly by and no one really did any launches. I also got tired of watching Vette's....lol

Also, the Switzer GTR made a 189mph run before you got there Dre.

hell yes it felt like my shoes were melting where i was watching the cars take off

twards the end a few cars were leaving hard

oh and that Bellos porsche was bad ass and went sideways almost 1/4 down the track
