12" 1550 CFM Slim / Thin 12V Radiator Cooling Fan:eBay Motors (item 200397118890 end time Oct-28-09 13:57:29 PDT)

^Thinking about getting Qty. 2 of these for the KOYO.

^Did your fans come with the hardware to mount to the radiator? Where are you guys getting that from? Seems like zip ties would crack from the heat over time.

bought mine from ebay but those were the exact fans I got. Worked great, I got extra OEM connectors on the forum and spliced them together to make them plug n' play. Set them up as pushers and it made alot of room in the bay.

^How did you go about mounting them? Qty. 2 for $48 to the door seems like a good buy and the fans are 1550cfm.

I put them in front of the radiator one on either side of the vertical support. They come with these little tabs with holes. I just used zip ties. Even with the limited space and a front mount I was able to secure them.

This is during my test fitting before I tightened everything up.

and this is the room it made

Thanks for the pic/help . I'll see how the zip ties do, or I might get some of those header wrap ties(the metal ones)that I've seen at advance. I picked up the fans from eBay since it was a good deal. I'll be using them as pushers on my N/A setup. I just like having more room up front and the cfm's whip the stock fans so I think this is a good mod.
