Thread: Got Rear Ended Today

Asshole was on the phone.

Looks like it is going to be about $1000-$1500 damage.

It does not look bad but will cost some money.

Things needed to get fixes

Bumper will need to be painted

Bumper suport or bumper shock will need to be straightened.

Trunk will need to be painted on the bottom as it has splintered

Passenger side under light will need to be pulled.

Was talking on the phone on the police report? It really should be.

His/her insurance should cover a rental for you.

We are talking Sentra's here not trying to get the bill to high for a write off.

Ahh yes. Back when I was rear ended the car rental didn't factor into the "fix it or total it" equation for the insurance company. They had a set amount they wouldn't go over for the payment of the rental though. Things get tighter and tighter each day.
