uh oh

what happened wayne?

Well while doing an S4 install everything went great until I took the 2 nuts off the chain tensioner and I don't know how... but both of the bolts in the block snapped in half. So now they have to be replaced. So the car is in the works of having the head pulled off and get new bolts. More or less I'm kinda upset but nothing I can really do.

I just thing they were torqued down to much from the previous highport cam install.

wow man that sux, so you had to remove the head to get the bolts replaced?

wouldn't it be easier to drill & tap the holes?

Its way to tight for that... there is enough for a shop or myself to get them out but need new ones put in. Something I'm sure a machine shop could do for under 100 bucks.
