Thread: Hot-lapping day at Gainesville...

I'm putting together a hot-lapping session/ meet at Gainesville raceway road course in September. There will be S/RT forum members there and a few Hondas in addition to the SR20 owners. I only have room for 100 cars (with as many people packed into each one as possible ) but I need at least 50 commitments before I can book the track. I would like ideas for the exact date so I can accomodate as many people as possible that really want to show up. The cost will be set at $80 for the full day per car. Wasn't aware G'ville had a road course. Any information on it?

Hmmm, G'ville's only about 2 hours away and I think I can get the suspension sorted out by then.

Sweet! only 40 more to go. I have 8 or 9 committed from J-ville with various cars. There's an SRT-4 powered PT coming, a racing SAAB (I know that's a contradiction in terms, but bear with me), a couple of civics, a VE powered b-14 (maybe, he says), my NX, and a few others. The earlier I can get peoples' suggested dates, the earlier I can book the track on that date which affords the most people the opportunity to attend. More details will follow the booking of the track.

wierd, huh? I know, right? As far as When in september, I have left that open so that I can let people give suggestions and get the largest group possible. I'm excited. I didn't get to run at Roebling road, though I was there. Show some love!!!

I'd be down for this...seems like no one wants to go to Gainesville though.
