I'm all for meeting up, I just planned it so we make short stops along the way to meet with people then keep driving, so we don't get there too late.

I hear ya Serban. I just figured we would be there no longer than an hour probably less. Plan to meet there about 1pm or somewhere around that time. It will give all of the west coasters and central people a place to catch up to the southern folks. And then we head out. If everyone would rather just do a rest stop, than so be it. I just thought I would throw this out there and see what kind of reaction it recieved.

If we meet at GRM at 1pm, we'd have to leave a lot earlier from down here. Right now I decided to leave around noon.

On a side note, I have a road atlas at work which shows mile markers off 95...I can figure out which rest areas are ideal for different people. I'll try to post this info later on today.

I think leaving from Ft. Lauderdale around 12 is a little late. We won't make it till 8:30pm at the earliest with stops.

Try to keep in mind, the LAST rest stop before the border is 20 miles south of Jacksonville, so it would be much better for anyone coming from I-10 if you stopped right near that interchange (I-95 and I-10), rather than 20 miles down I-95.

Russell, I actually like the idea of meeting up at GRM, I'll edit the first post to reflect this. That means us FT lauderdale guys will need to leave earlier to make it there by 1.
