Thread: Someone tried to tow steal my car...

Yo i was at my cousin house yesterday and a tow truck came up to my car and almost towed it if i did not come out side. i askied the guy what car he came for and he said the wrong year and color.. sounded off cause it only had two cars in my lot. anyways, he made a phony call and after 10 min said ohh he got the wrong place, he said the addres right and i asked him where it is gonig he said he don't know. i called the dispatcher and asked he said yes someone called and i asked where it was gonig he said WHO CARES. i was like wtf? anyways it was A and B towing red truck #5 in miramar. these guys are messed up and if u are on the forum you know who i am.. just letting you guys know.

People like this make me sick.

These places run scams like this where they'll tow your car wrongfully.

Whether you like it or not to get your car back you have to pay the impound lot regardless of the conditions that your car was towed.

I would've called popo just to make him think twice about doing it a second time.

Wow this is crazy, I dont understand why people act like this. Towing companies are sometimes part of the deal.

I would say you got pretty lucky. If I was you I would go to the police department and file a report on the towing company for an attempted car theft/robbery. Seems like you have enough information to validate an investigation. If your going to do it, don't wait too long or they won't do it (I think the cut off is 48hrs).

when 6 Classic SE-Rs where stolen less than 2yrs ago, that included me and my bro's boosted black B13. They where all towed by Tow Trucks. I heard mention from one of the owner's about an A&B Towing truck. Don't think it was just a simple mistaken tow, they where going to steal your shiet, consider yourself lucky.

You should get the authorities involved before someone else isn't so lucky.

Well I don't know what kind of vehicle your cousin owns but IMO it's easier to make a quick sale on an import that's fairly common on the street racing scene, that's one of the reasons I assume that Civics and Integras are stolen so frequently.
