This is how I had mine set up and it was barely hitting the frame where the steering rack mounts, had to beat it in a little to clear the pulley.

^ is this alternator locatio accessable from under the car? say you needed to change the alt out, can you take it off from under the car verses up top?

I can't mentally picture what the stock bracket looks like, which part needs to be modded/grinded?

I am not sure how much it helps but this mod would also move more weight towards the middle of the car.

that is a totally different bracket than what I used when I did mine^^^

no not really, it's tight and would have to be pulled from the top.

^ would the air intake manifold have to come off in order to replace it through the top? imo if i was to do this i would just invest in a new alt and then replacing it wouldnt be much of a worry.

if you look at it you can see where it is smoother...this would be where it was ground down.....if i get a chance ill dig out my stock bracket and get a pic of it to use as a before one...but if you have yours you can just compare them and it will make sense.
