Its not close at all to the steering rack at all. It does come within a 1/2 of the unibody frame. I spaced mine so that the belt rode on the inner ribs and was going to get a new pulley made but never did.

wrong, in Miko's set-up he actually says for you to use the de style oil filter with it being located on top next to the valve cover.

Let me ask you something though, Why would you do this? Doing this would make

changing the alt harder... Not quite sure why you would do it unless you needed to free

up space in the front for a turbo manifold or something. hmm... Anyway still good news to

others for you finding this out. Good job.

How often do you change your alternator? with every oil change? It makes the bay super clean.

Miko uses RWD alternator and different bracket, so so sorry! This one uses FWD alternator and modified brackets that use up more room up top.

I used a FWD alternator with the DE oil filter housing. I does not matter apparently. I think he uses the RWD alternator since it fits better and you dont have to cut off brackets.
