Sammy I see your point, but its his price. Also if maz's head studs arent up to some peoples power levels this is the next option.

Stratton.

I dont see why your lifting heads at 600hp. I can guarantee you I was pushing over that on my setup and Im using Golden Eagle b16a headstuds which are 190,000 ksi tensile strength and was not lifting the head at all. Something is wrong elsewhere . And the mazworx studs are stronger than the golden eagles. No way they should be lifting the head at 600hp. Not a chance. Hell jp didnt start lifting his VE head on a stock headgasket and stock headbolts till after 600whp.

Thats a really expensive stud set man. You are talking beyond the price of any other stud set out there and I though the tomei headstuds were expensive at almost 400 bucks.

Anyways good luck with the product. Nice set of studs though, nothing wrong with an even stronger stud.

Might want to check your machine work on the block and head first before anything. That will cause gasket sealing problems under high boost apps. Seen it before.

We were 100% lifting the head. I don't know what it is about the golden eagles, I see a lot of Honda guys using them making crazy power I will agree with you there. In my opinion there is a lot of lucky guys running around with those. We simply removed the Mazworks studs one by one and installed our studs and the car no longer pushes any coolant in boost. That car would only push coolant over 24psi anything under it would not push any. so far we have ran it up too 30psi with no problems!

They are spendy, but in my opinion they are worth every penny.

Not saying you wernt lifting the head. But with headstuds and perfectly flat block and head surfaces you can actually get away with the head lifting slightly and not push any coolant. Under extreme pressure the head is gonna lift some. Perfectly flat surfaces are key to keeping it from pressurizing the cooling system. Your right about the golden eagles. There are people using them to 1000whp and not having problems. I think most of those guys have oring blocks too soo that helps.

The L19's are used by many supra guys/sc owners. I am very impressed with the results, even though they are very pricey it def saves time and $$$ if your looking to make huge power with your sr.. Not many guys are making those kind of numbers (including myself) so I will stick with what I have in there now. But if I do ever decide to go this route you will be getting a call from me!

We are currently out of stock! I did not buy that many sets cause I didn't know if they would sell due to the price. Let me know if you are interested and I can get you some!

Thanks,
Andy

way overpriced, at that price you can spend the coin and go with the 1/2" studs and just about break even...i believe the problem was with engine assembly or assembler, not the studs...at this price i'd rather spend $85 for old school ARP's, ive ran them for years without any issue

this is the nissan community, these guys are hella cheap...you will notice that really quick, supra guys may spend HUGE money on some bolts but not the people on here...just saying

Again thats what I said, that and I dont know how they were getting head lift at those power levels when I know for a fact I was over that power level and on 35 lbs on a t67 and still didnt lift the head at well over 650whp and thats being conservative. If your surfaces are perfectly flat and you use a good gasket again not cometic, i was using a Cosworth gasket and GE b16a studs and zero head lift and beat the crap out of it at 35psi even when I got detonation after the fpr took a dump It still did not break the gasket and thats usually the first thing to go under that extreme of detonation.

All i know is im going with the mazworx 1/2" studs, having a local machine shop drill and tap the block for them and it will come out to about 300 total w/ the price of the studs and hold anything I can possibly throw at it.

I'm glad most of you are dogging a vendors products. I am very happy to see companies still coming out with products for an engine that isn't produced any longer.
If someone wants that added security theyll pay the price. I sell Subaru head stud kits for more than this all the time
