What's wrong with using the latest version?

Well I thought of that but there are at least three different options. Nissan datascan I , nissan data scan dash I dash , and nissan datascan II. I downloaded your beta XDF from the first page thinking that's all I needed but after reading datascan website I am unsure that it will work with tunnerproRT And the beta XDF. I don't have a consult cable just the USB cable from the Calum rt ecu.

Nissan Data Scan and TunerProRT are two different products and don't interlace at all. Nissan Data Scan is for logging only through consult port (which your Calum ECU is able to emulate through the USB cable). TunerProRT is for modifying the bins's only (as it is today, if someone makes an ADX file it could technically be used for logging too). That XDF is a definition file for TunerPro, it tells TunerPro what parts of the BIN to modify.

Sorry I'm new to this but working on it. I am trying to Log my TP. I was reading on the first page and thought your Beta B14 XDF file was properly modified to use NDS and log TP. I guess the real question is which of the three latest offerings of NDS will work the same as the old NDS 1.4 did. I was thinking of buying the NDS Dash since its the cheapest and for what I'm going to use it would serve my purpose, or at least that the plan.

NDS I 1.63 should work fine, Dash and NDS 2 might work, but I haven't personally used them.

Reason you need to use TunerPro and the XDF, you actually have to make changes to the tune and upload it to the ECU, then can NDS pick those changes up (after configuration).

Posting this up for anyone in the same situation. NDS's latest version works just fine with the XDF, and it is some what free. I have successfully downloaded it and got it to work. Also I'm using windows 8! and it seems to work fine no issues. Thanks for the help @Vadim

I'm thinking about getting an MR2 Spyder and we should be *very* lucky to have such awesome AND cheap tuning options. On the MR2, they have to use a standalone ECU like Apexi PowerFC or some other $1k tuning option which isn't nearly as compatible and customizable as what we have.

Thanks! I'm glad it's helpful, I do need to probably revamp and update it too.

This is part of the reason why I went with a Legacy GT over Altima SE-R, being able to tune just about any turbo Subaru with a $200 cable is awesome, but the community is huge, thus lots of people to make good ECU definitions. I'm surprised MR2 would be so lacking, seems like a fairly popular car too.
