Thread: replacement Rs5f70 speed sensor

has anyone had to replace the Rs5f70 g20 speed sensor. It seems that the part is not in manufacture anymore?

OK, I thought I would post up my solution that I came up with. I ordered through Brenden at Pten Developments in New Zealand , a sensor that looked similar that actually turned out to be to long. so after looking at then I noticed that you can remove the sensor module itself. I needs a lot of careful encouragement to get it out unharmed, When removed you have the plug socket and the sensor then you simply swap them over. There are springs etc in there so you need to be careful.

Sometimes you have to get creative to keep these old girls running.

oh yeah, it is discontinued part from Nissan and Infiniti.
