You were almost there on posting your pic. From that web hosting page, click the Arrow below your pic to Share the photo, click the BBCode tab, go to Original Size, and copy the code there. All you need is the part of the text with the IMG tags, just take the URL ones off. I'm going ahead and linking to that image here:
That is definitely the neutral switch cable, and there should have been a 2 pin connector at the end of that wire. It would normally have snaked its way up top by where you have it zip tied, or maybe even straight up from the switch. I think I've routed mine both ways when I've disconnected it in the past. The connector would be right at the top of the transmission.
Since the wires have broken off, you are most likely looking for that harness I mentioned earlier on Section EL, Page 103, find the two connectors there, and follow them out PAST the connector. I'll bet that one of them is plugged in, but has the wires broken off. You should be able to unplug that one, and if there is enough wire, just solder the wires back together. It is just a switch, so the colors shouldn't matter.
If you don't have enough wire length, the easiest thing is going to be to visit your local salvage yard, take that connector with you in your pocket, find ANY 2 pin socket that it fits into correctly, and snip off the connector (not the socket!) that you need with about a foot of wire, then splice it up when you get home. You may be able to buy a connector from an auto parts store, but it's more fun going to the junk yard.
