grinding p12 bellhousing for 6speed clutch
6speed users, anyone running the ka24de clutch masters fx500 have any clearance issues? If so where are u grinding? I'm currently trying to clearance the bellhousing just trying to get some insight from any1 who's done it already. My first problems spot was the starter area barely hitting the outter ridge of the pressure plate.

I'm using the Gspec flywheel but with the ka24de cm fx500 the pressure plate hits in the exact spot shown in the thread. I was just wondering if that's was the only spot that proposed a problem for clearance. I just used a angle grinder to take a few mm off of the housing there

I'm using a gspec flywheel and ka24E clutch, no grinding required..

Yeah after talkin to a few different people, It sounds like only some bellhousings require grinding and only with the fx500 lol. Weird cause I'd think the casting would be the same across the board. I bet it is the tiny differences between clutchmaster pressure plates.
