Would first like to thank Dave M. Speculative and. 98se(-R) for their threads of info. On Hydraulic Clutch conversions

using a maxima pedal and mc,i would like to run a steel braided line to the slave without the tdamper.is this ok?also are the clutch lines the same size as the sentras?how tight is the maximas resavoir in that area?thanks in advance guys

Theres lots of threads that go over this procedure. I just did it in my b13. You can use the remote reservoir from a b15 cmc on the maxima cmc, I'm not sure what pedal is best suited for the b14 as I know the mounting points are different between the 2.

Do a little searching around and you'll find what your looking for.

yes the clutch pedal assemblies are different between b13 and b14. Ive read probably almost all the write ups pertaining to the swap. All which have all the information you need to make the swap happen whether which chassis preference, but the info favors the b13,which has a better variety of parts to be used with a little effort on our part.

So far,the 1999 Nissan maxima clutch pedal assembly does not fit(along with the mc because of the resavoir, but that resavoir can be switched up for a b15 resavoir)

this is a pic of a 1999 Nissan maxima clutch pedal assembly

the spacer does not get taken out if used(maxima pedal needs to cut or bend that tab down to make a possible connection on the top.)the maxima has the same spacer as the b14's on the inside of firewall.(exact same spacer welded on)
the b15 clutch pedal assembly needs to be cut /modified to use. Please refer to DaveM post where the link where Speculative converted to hydraulic using b15 hydraulic clutch hardware.

i will attempt the next assembly off of g20 pedal and mc.

Remove the metal braces and control box to get a better angle to remove the bolt on the top for your b14. Or you might strip the bolt like I did..wound up being able to fix it with a Drexel lol.this bolt here....
