They do, and its exactlly that... Especially speaking for the gears. They dont wanna buy the right machinery to get the job done right and then when they do the guys sit on there asses and iill the jobs so the company has no other choice but to find viAble options elsewhere in which case they must have turned to the same vendors that make eurocopter parts. So.... Not ONLY american parts... But only out of necessity and the government has to inspect the part thoroughly and sign off on them from gears to nuts an bolts.
Also to make this post atleast somewhat related to the topic, the way u installed the bearings is fine. If u were to rent a bearing install kit from the zone you would be doing the very same thing just with a aluminum tool likely with some sort of guide lip or edge to let u know when uve bottomed out. If u were careful im sure theyll be fine.
