Thread: Vin number for 70 series sr20 car...

Anyone have a vin number for a car equipped originally with a sr20 and 70A series transmission?

Also, which gears are interchangeable between transmissions and which are part of the same shaft?

I just pulled a 70A out of an 02 G20 at the junkyard. I'll see if I can get back up there and get you a pic of the VIN plate.

Why do you need a VIN? I can give you straight link to parts catalog of Euro P11-144 that has 70A trans.

Thanks. I am actually looking for a part number on the bell housing for 70a to sr20. A lot of sites need a vin number to give accurate info.

part is NLA from Nissan last i checked. Will try and dig up P/N for you.

I still have it but my car isn't put back together yet. Worked great on my broken motor tho, powerband held pretty good till 9000 on stock intake manifold.
