It's bolted to the 14mm bolt at the bottom of the oil pan and the other end is welded to the motor mount/shifter stabilizer bracket that bolts to the tranny. It basically does the same as the welded case without the hassle. I used an old alternator adjuster bracket from a older car, bolted the part with the hole to the 14mm bolt, rotated it up to touch the motor mount bracket, twist it so the flat side sits flush with the bracket and weld away.
