6speed tranny final drive help?
if the 32v diff can fit back in the 6 speed tranny can the final drive work back to would love to see a 5.1 final drive in those.

32v diff in a rs6f51a? you mean a 70v dont you?

Id bet the dimensions of the 32/70v wont allow them to be interchanged with a 51H.

ooo crap miss read the article Project Infiniti G20 Racecar: Transmission Upgrades but can anyone located a closer final drive for the 6speed than 4.7??

Have you driven a 4.4 FD 6spd? My NA ve with bolt ons spun the tires in 1st-2nd. What is your setup? The gears go quick even with the 4.4FD, I was well into 4th gear in the 1/4 mile.

no 6speed but i have a sr16ve tranny with 5.1fd

Yeah, even P12 6speed with 4.75 FD is very long. Im alwasys saying look at K20 6speed gearing and see whats biggest SR20 cars problem...

It seems that there is only one way for me - custom gearing, something like that will tops 5th gear at 135mhp or so at most with aprox. 8500rpm.

To me long gearing would be the Maxima final @ 3.812

Im using the spec-v final (4.133) and am using it for drag racing...
