The 70a Transmission from a 1.8 Sentra will not Bolt on to an SR20. The only thing you can use from the 1.8 70a transmission is the gear stacks. The 70V transmission only comes on the 2000-2001 Nissan Sentra 2.0SE with the Performance Package or the 2000-2001 Infiniti G20 Touring or 2002 Infiniti G20 Sport.

Internally they are the same.
He would still need a 2.0 case.
In other words:
If he has a broken 2.0 tranny, everything but the diff. inside of the 1.8 can be used to repair it.

Would the 1.8 gearstack be a good option for what i am looking to do?

Picked it up as a spare, but just wondering if it would be a good option for my setup

Do you have an rs5f70v or rs5f70a transmission that will bolt onto an sr20? Just to give u some more info you can NOT use that gear stack in an rs5f32V tranmission.

So just blew out 2nd gear synchro bc of this damn snow. Need to either repair the 32 or pick a new box. Any suggestions greatly appreciated
