Hopefully it's not a A/T axle in a M/T. That would call for a plasma cutter and a new diff.

Don't ask how I know this...

If it is the correct axle it should slide right out. The M/T passanger axles dont have the lock like the the drivers side. Heres a thread of a problem I had. Take a look.

ok ok ok hang on guys...

#1 dont stick shit through the trans to beat on the axle, it dont work.. ask me how i know..

#2 a side hammer might work, a 5lb sledge worked for me beating on the carrier housing (warning may cause damage!)

#3 this is probably due to someone at some point using a shitty ass NEW axle.. this is why i ALWAYS tell folks to get oem remanned units or oem used..

i had to drop my exhaust and cross member then pull the trans out with the axle still in it, then after using small hammers an a bottle jack and scissor jack and sticking shit through the differential to beat it out, i took it to a friend who gave it a few whacks with a 5lb sledge and it came right out. THEN I GOT A REMAN OEM AXLE AND HAVEN'T HAD A PROBLEM SINCE!

ps not sorry about caps hahaha

ALSO auto / manual SE-R lsd axles are the same.. and only the driver side has the stupid ring on the end.

I guess I always get lucky! I manage to just yank on the axle and it pops out. Driver side, that shit is always a different story....

im suprised your having problems with the passanger side, its usually the driveres side that a bitch.Just hit the part of the axle that bolts to the engine collar with a rubber hammer. it should slide right out.
