^How would I be able to tell if both flywheels were 109 with the different designs or 108 with a different designs besides the parts #'s? I still don't know if there are 4 different part numbers as I think it should be.

^What should we be looking for from the pic?

If the flywheel says NIS 11 on the other side then its 109 tooth, if it says NIS 19, then it's 108 tooth.

I went to my post office last night and put both my flywheels on the scale and came out with some surprising results.

Stocker - 18lbs 6oz
SR16VE - 16lbs 10oz

NOTE: The stocker just came out of my NX (dirty and all) and the SR16VE was just cleaned and turned by a local speed shop.

My conclusions are I am a little disappointed with this community. I have heard countless times that the stock flywheel weighs over 20 lbs yet with over 2000 views on this thread no one has corrected that factual error. For me I am letting this be a lesson that I shouldn't trust everything even the majority says because half the time someone is quoting someone else who is quoting someone else who is quoting someone else who used his dial bathroom scale to get the weight of his stock flywheel.

The stock flywheel does come in at 20-21 pounds. I have seen stock SR20flywheels come in less but they are usually used ones that have been cut down a few times.

Hey Nate,

Thanks for taking your time to weigh your flywheels and contributing

Like Andreas has mentioned it could be machined down a bit. It really makes me wish I weighed my stock flywheel before hand.

Does anyone else have a stock flywheel they could weigh on a good non-bathroom scale?

I kind of doubt this flywheel has ever been turned but I will try to get in touch with the previous owners. The reason I doubt it has ever been turned is because the car only has 140K+ on it and the clutch JUST started slipping a little bit when driven really hard. It is possible that there is a difference between high port and low port cars or cars made in the USA or Japan (considering all NXs where made in Japan).
