Is your Pulsar an OBDII? Do you have a CEL Light?

If your OBDII and no Cell light then it has to be 108 tooth

If the flywheel was cheaper, I would def look into it over the Fidanza

Whoa, this is good info i have my fidanza flywheel and i guess i should probably weigh it while I have a chance before the install to know exactly what it weighs. I know that a lighter flywheel results in faster acceleration, but i was also told it does help put more of your hp to the wheels by decreasing the amount of drivetrain loss.But its not a great amount maybe 1-2 hp if that. I'll ask my Master Tech buddy again so that we will have the technicalities that make all this stuff happen.

Theres two models of the fidanza as far as weight gos. The Lightweight and the ultralight weight. The ultra light is the one that weighs 8.8lbs. I had this on my car before I went to the XTD flywheel. The fidanza is way to light IMO. At 7lbs of boost I was lighting up first on the T25. It also made it so that the car was hard to drive at part throttle because the T25 boost so fast that it would want to boost anytime you hit the gas above 2500rpms. With a bigger turbo I think the 8lb fidanza would be great. Me myself Im going to run the XTD with a UR 2 pulley underdrive setup and it should feel very nice and itll have a nice balance.

Thats what you would think, reducing some the flywheel weight you should be able to reduce the driver terrain loss to less then 15% for FWD cars

So bigger turbo, bigger turbo lag, but with a lighter flywheel that should help out?

im my own personal opinion, lightening up the rotation mass helps out alot in both NA and boosted applications. having a lighter rotation assembly in a boosted car i feel is most important, be it lighter pistons,rods,crankshaft, as you can have them machined lighter and balanced, or lighter pullies, lighter crankshaft pulley, lighter flywheel, it all helps out.

flywheels i think are most improtant becuase most factory flywheels tend to be ALOT heavier than aftermarket, some factory cars do have lighter flywheels than stock configurations tho, take the integra type r their flywheels are lighter from factory, now they arent aftermarket light, BUT lighter.

Vadim, Yep...bigger the turbo the lighter the flywheel should be to help counteract the lag of the turbo {to a point}. For my car the XTD is just perfect. It could be a wee lil bit faster revving down low for daily driving. But thats what this underdrive pulley and WP pulley are for.

I mean seriously. The T25 style turbos and all the other T2's spool super fast already. You go throwing a superlightweight flywheel on the car and lightweight everything else on the car and sure itll make the car rev up super fast and look good on the dyno. But how is that good unless your driving around on slicks all day. Watch some of my videos and watch other peoples videos. Mine doesnt spin that much. Other peoples with super lightweight flywheels light the tires up 1st through 4th!

You can save weight in other places besides the flywheel also...I run a six puck clutch unsprung. That saves some rotational mass right there over a sprung disc. Lighter Pulleys, rods, lighter pistons ect ect... But Having everything as light as it can be is not always a good thing. Throwing the most expensive parts at something isnt going to make the fastest car either. Everything has to compliment everything else and work smoothly together. Especially on a FWD car where Spinning means your not going anywhere fast....

I tried looking for your vids but had no luck. I think the SR16VE flywheel is also a good choice for turbo, since it is lighter but not by much.

Oh yeah I understand that throwing expensive parts will always make the fastest car. Look at SSAC header for one haha.

100% aggreed, people make fun of honda guys however i feel they are the most efficent people out there modding cars, they put together kits for next to nothing and run some incrediable times...then you have guys fully building motors with best of everything not but bearly breaking the homemade turbo kit hondas, its amazing....being efficent is what its all about, not the fastest,not the most whp, not the best parts, but efficent...efficent power beats out anything..esp when its done for a fraction of the price.

i used to be into hondas i know the ins and outs, not saying hondas are the best, but peoples misconception of power is totally overrated, it doesnt take thousands to be fast, just right parts in right places.

just like most people dont comprehend that sr20de engines are stout motors, from factory, they can handle gobs of power, it doesnt take ALOT to make them super fast, i donno why ppl dont understand that.
