Honestly I dont really have a vid of showing the flywheel in action. But the vid kinda shows you the quick revs. Below about 3000-3100 depending on the gear ive got no boost. So its just throttle response getting me up there. Its a smooth transition into boost not a super spin. The SR16 Flywheel would be to heavy IMO.


^This is Ashstonsser's car. This is how my car was at 7psi (an example. Im not even sure he has a lightweight flywheel...hes just got an S15 Turbo lol). With a T25 and the 8.8lb fidanza its crazy. Seriously! Spinning doesnt equal fast! In Ashtons defence he said this was on some 195's that were worn. The car still moves once it catches traction but this is how annoying my car was with the Fidanza and a T25.

Heres 10lbs more boost on the T25 with the XTD flywheel. Notice it spins ALOT less but still has good throttle response....

Anyway We could talk about this all day. But its honestly to each his own. Sorry for all the videos. Just trying to show my point

I see what your saying. I know now bad having no traction is. If it rains I can't rev past 4k rpm, otherwise no traction haha.

This is why I didn't just jump onto the Fidanza bandwagon, I researched and when I decided to stay NA then I stuck with the best for NA hehe

Would the jwt flywheel throw a code in b14 chassis?

Depends on how many teeth it has. If you can find that out, I can tell you

Vadim, I had a clutchnet 10lbs FW on my old p10t and it was great. I have a different p10 now with a stock U12 in it and I really want another light FW. Is there any preference on the weight of light FW's for turbo sr20's? I've seen them range from 8.5-13lbs, so any info for boosted sr20's would be great.

As per Johnny wangwang, I would go with something that is like 11-12 lbs. XTD one should work.

I'm rocking a Fidanza with a T28. I've got the flywheel in now. I'll have the turbo in soon. I don't expect anything but awesomeness. I also run 225 wide tires though. Also, the throttle is there for a reason. =]

I want to upgrade to some sort of gt28 by next spring. I have a set of rays engineering b15 nismo rims, that I was thinking of putting 225/35/17's on... just checking the offset. Johnny thinks the medium weight light FW is best, maybe I'll get my old clutchnet back.

Yes it is! So you people with super lightweight flywheels and no lag turbos can feather the clutch through third as I mash the gas with no spin and drive past you

yeah i have the fidanza 8.8 lb, well you could see my old vids ive posted with my t25 @12psi when the tires were in good condition, haha it still spun like crazy. haha the throttle response is instant the tires really do spin pretty bad but i will be putting some 205's or 225's on some 15" wheels here down the road but then at full boost 20psi on the s15 bb turbo it should probably still spin pretty good in 1st, 2nd and some of 3rd, but haul butt while doing so. haha

I personally love the lightweight flywheel, its soo nice, revs are soo quick and smooth, there is no downfall in my opinion
