The only issue is the CEL present with having a tooth count error. Throws the CEL for the crank angle sensor. If you don't have emissions, you can simply ignore it.

Just to add to this informative thread,a bit late i know lol but i have got the 12lbs XTD flywheel fitted now on my fairly modded sr20de,it is a great mod imo, only when the engine is modded though,i really notice how the flywheel came to play when i fitted better cams,i can;t fault it at all, engine revs much quicker, revs falls quicker,i like it like that, much quicker off the line, all this talk of the lighten flywheel needing more gas etc to set off has me confused,i can set off in second gear without much revs and get a perfect getaway, engine slows down alot quicker,i love this to,think i might of stalled once in a year of having it fitted.Drives just like stock to me and i was a little worry about it when i had fitted it at first.

I thinking of maybe fitting 8lbs flywheel soon.

If you have a particular flywheel that you want the info on, just ask.

GTIR flywheel is 240mm and RWD SR20DET flywheel is 240mm. So if you drill out the holes bigger to fit the larger GTIR bolts it should work fine.

I'm trying to identify an aluminum flywheel I purchased many, many moons ago...back when there were few people making parts for the B13 SER. It has an 8-bolt steel insert that I would like to replace but the flywheel has absolutely NO markings to identify its maker. I don't recall ever putting a sticker on anything but my tool box but there is a Clutch Masters sticker on the flywheel. However, CM, Fidanza, & ACT have all denied it's theirs. The Stillen flywheel on the 1st page, looks the most similar imo...and the insert could be drilled to match the pattern in the pic (if it was available). My next step will be to remove the insert to see if there are any identifying markings underneath.

This was being used on my '91 SER. It has 108 teeth and caused no CEL.

On to the pics...
