Yeah I put that info in my thread. I was able to assemble a hybrid (driver side) using B15 inner and outer joints with B13 shaft connecting them.

What about the passenger side?

used a B15 axle from advanceauto

gots money ready.. anyone got left over parts, or bought the stuff and had second thoughts? I'm like a day or 2 away from ordering.. I'm just all, "ugh, thats a lotta money to spend if I'm going to have issues" but I've been saving just to do this, and thought about it since pimpin's been pimpin

I have a B15 pedal i didnt use (used a maxima pedal) and the P12 gear stacks (used spec-v gears)

Ok fellas... for those of you that went from a 5 speed to the 6 speed.

Would you say it loads the car differently? (im MAP/IAT if that affects anything)

The gearing worksheet seem to say 1-5th are basically the same (overall) in both trans's. What the technical reasons this is so?

Maybe this trans has more drivetrain loss? They are beefier, heavier, and three stacks instead of two. I'm on a fatty p11 that had the beefier p11 trans before anyway, so didn't notice any real differences. My gears are shorter with an 02 gear stack, so technically it has less load in say 2nd gear.

I think there is less load. To slowly accelerate in any gear my gauge is around 5" vacuum, which is almost WOT for an NA car. Im sure before on the 5 speed, I could accelerate with only 12" vac.

Didn't you just replace the turbo with a GTX wheel though?

Also that means there is more load, if you have to give more throttle to accelerate the same amount.

Ok, i guess I was thinking about it backwards. lol

And yes GTX turbo, but untuned , so im not going into boost, trying to get miles on the clutch by only using 10-15% throttle.

Yup, the higher the vacuum the less load. -24 in/Hg is less throttle then -5 in/Hg.

The GTX compressor wheel spools better, thus it would provide more air at the same throttle position.
