Is it rather annoyingly difficult to go into reverse without really rev matching for you guys? I remember my B14 having similar issue, B15/P11 is fixed it, just wondering if 6 speed brought it back.

ummm... Dont you have a 6 speed?

Yes and it's a pain in the butt to go into reverse. My shifter cables had to be modded to get to work right, thus I don't know if it's the trans it self or my cables at fault.

The short 3 min drive I had in mine before my axle issue.... mine was like butter, both the times I used reverse.

Time to play with the select cable again. Mine is super adjustable :-P, be careful with this cable the plastic on them seems to break easily (mine came broken, the guys at the yard probably yanked it wrong)

maybe you should get a new set of cables.

At this point if I have to spend another $100 on the swap, it will get 5 speed back and the car will be put on the market . This swap has made me hate this car, if only the gas mileage would have increased to say 35mpg I would have been more or less fine with it, but the fact that it went down a little is what's killing my motivation.

I'm wondering if it's something else that's preventing it to go into reverse easily, the P11 trim sure does get in the way.

Once I start driving mine, I'll see what happens with my gas mileage.

So if I drove in heavy rain and the water on the road was causing the car to pull left and right .... would y'all say that it needs an alignment?

Sounds like major toe out. Your on a B13 you can easily align your car with 4 jack stands and two strings.
