Same problem I had. Keep rotating the pressure plate and you'll get to the point where it barely fits. As you tighten it down, it will forcefully go in.

i was able to turn it so none of the pins are in a hole.

Also figured out that the bolt that came from my driver side trans mount is not long enough to use in the spec-v mount.

And the findings regarding using spec-v axles with DSS splined B13 hubs:
You will need shims to go on before putting the axle through the hub. WHy? Those that looked into using spec-v hubs with spec-v wheel bearings know that to use them the bottom of the knuckle needs to be machined out to fit the wider bearings. Well that extra length to them is apparent. (pictures tomorrow)

You mean b13 knuckles with spec v bearings and hubs? If so i looked into that. I was curious if the extra width was going to cause issues with the axles going all the way in on these DSS hubs but wasnt sure if it would or not so I wanted to wait until someone got theirs done to find out.

Mark marksr20 seems to know the right combo of axles for the hybrid setup. He got one set completed for his and I sent him mine as a spare set. He also had issues with his going all the way in and sent them back to DSS.

Hopefully soon all these little issues w/ mounts and axles will get worked out. I feel happy that mine went soo well

Im using b13 knuckles, b13 hubs, b13 bearings and b15 axles.

The comment regarding the width is because it is known that b15 bearings are wider... and logic dictates that the splines for the axles are also.

Hope I don't have this issue, I am doing 4x114.3 all around

After going through this, maybe having the knuckles modified to fit the b15 bearings and using b15 hubs would be easier.

Thats why I opted to just go ahead with the knuckles and do a 5 lug later on
