Lets talk about updated cost figures. The OP from 2012 states that the swap ranges from 2000$ to 3700$ depending on how fancy you want to make it. I think the lower number is a bit high for todays situation, so I calculated how much my swap has costed:

340€ P12 trans+DMF flywheel+clutch
130€ 2xB15 axles (ebay used)
250€ Gearbox mount kit (Performanceplus)
70€ P12 2.2L Shifter+cables
70€ Maxima Pedal+mc+line
50€ Fasteners, oil, consumables

Total: 910€ (1016$)

I'd say that is beginning to look a lot more tempting to people on this forum. If I were to do this again, I would ditch the pre-made mounts, and just modify the OEM mounts to suit the transmission.

2x on not using worm clamps, they can also have clearance issues. Oetiker clamps are cheaper, just need a $5 crimp tool from HF

Should also be worth mentioning to people that will attempt this swap, that the Charcoal Canister (tank ventilation system) in the engine bay will interfere with the shifting mechanism. It will need to be relocated or deleted.

I made a thread regarding proper deletion of the canister: http://www.sr20-forum.com/general-sr20/79446-deleting-charcoal-canister-properly.html

I'm trying to relocate it to the front of the engine bay. There's plenty of room since my battery is now in the trunk of my b14

It is now confirmed that the Primera 2.2L Diesel 6speed shifter works with the swap! Posted some pics in my thread

One of the few times I'm glad my canister is in the back by the gas tank, all I have is hose running in the engine bay from it.

Anyone know if DSS still does the hubs? Called a few times and couldn't get anyone on the phone.
