Thanks guys, this really helped me narrow down what I need to do.

One more thing. I'm trying out a shifter assembly that no one has tried before (much cheaper), and was wondering about the shift pattern.

Can someone confirm that it is 6RDR that is needed for the swap?

FOR EUROPEAN MARKET

Nissan Primera P12 2.2L Diesel has the exact same shifter as the SR20VE as far as I can tell. I have just ordered one from the scrappers, and it was very affordable. This car is extremely common all over europe, so it should be extremely easy to source. Once I have confirmed that this fits, someone could add it to the first post of this thread.

6RDR is what it is.

As for axles, B15 SE (2.0's) have thinner axle shafts that go through the hub. If the spline count matches, it might work for you guys.

I got lucky, since the used B15 Sentra 2.5 axle had very good quality boots already on them. You have to use boots specifically made for the B15 Sentra, since they are not round. If you try to use an universal CV boot, it will leak like a mofo.

Get a B15 2.5 or P12 2.0 boot. B15 is the easiest.

You might not get away with using clamps like those... they also might cause a vibration

Eh, I have been running those type of clamps for 4 years with no issues whatsoever. Clearance is the main issue, it's not possible on some cars. B13 has plenty of room, so it works here.

If you are worried about vibration, put them on opposite sides. Or half two clamps, so you get an evenly spaced clamp, with a fastener every 180 degrees.

Back to 6-speed discussion:
Can you use a dual mass YD22DDTi flywheel on an SR engine?
They look the same to me, and is crazy inexpensive compared to the SR20VE dual mass flywheel. I am thinking of picking one up just to check, since my P12 DMF is knackered. Anyone tried this?

EDIT: They do not fit The bolt holes are very slightly different.

Here's some more info on the hybrid passenger side axle

"Passenger side axle, 2004 Sentra SpecV 2.5MT w/ABS"

It has the exact same shaft! 27mm diameter, 25splines. Worked perfectly, and on the first axle I tried
