Which cables do you have? Spec v cables should be routed between subframe and firewall. They won't make it to the shifter mount otherwise. For people who need/want to get creative, Altima and maxima shifter cables are about 9inches longer

Between the subframe and firewall to the passenger side of the weight block on the subframe with my altima cables. I believe the altima cables are definitely longer than the spec v. Mine have more than enough room for movement. I could route them under the subframe as well with no issues. But between the subframe and firewall is the proper place.

Only way they would reach is between subframe for me, very tight fit on a P11 with spec cables.

OK thanks guys,
I have the specv cables
I spent a while fighting them today, then had to wrestle them back out... now that the shifter assy is mounted down, i'll try to push them back b/t the firewall and frame

ALSO... for the two front bolts on the shifter assy, instead of drilling a hole through the floor. I broke off the studs, drilled them out and tapped them for M6 x 1.0 (factory size) bolts.

Hey guys, Ive been thinking of trying to get a 02 - 04 Maxima 6 speed gearset to use in my P12 6 speed, as my car is turbo.

Ive found a possible freight solution, can anyone please post a link to a good site to find a box? Frieght companys depot is in LA, so somewhere closer to there would probably be ideal.

Oh, Im in NewZealand, so yeah its a bit of work but figured i would price it all up and see if i can justify the cost.

Cheers
Darryl
